Tea Garden at Pop Brixton

The Tea Garden is a small space containing plants used in herbal and medicinal teas. In both leaf & flower the strong colour palette has been chosen to compliment the faded metallic shades of the containers. Some of the plants are hedgerow hybrids (Sweet Cicely, Elderflower, Hyssop, Blackberries & Nettle), others more cultivated herbs – and of course we have Jasmine, Rose, Geranium and Lavender for floral teas.

Filling the greenhouse with flowers marks the opening of Pop Farm with a colourful explosion of petals and colour. The flowers are a celebratory beginning, and Amaryllis (also known as Hippeastrums) have an unmistakably exotic appearance. The varieties used are White Nymph, Sweet Lilian, Exotic Star, Daphne & Ferrari.
As we go on, they’ll be joined by other exotics including kiwi, passion fruit, and varieties of aubergine, chilli and ginFilling the greenhouse with flowers marks the opening of Pop Farm with a colourful explosion of petals and colour.
